Fall cocktails with Calvados

Busnel and Daron Calvados

The leaves are slowly turning and the night air is getting crisp – the perfect time to try cocktails with Calvados, an apply brandy from Normandy. Here are two of my favorite recipes with minimal ingredients to highlight the true taste of Calvados. Cheers!

Normandy

2 oz. Busnel Calvados

1 oz. Stirring’s Apple Liqueur All Natural

1/2 squeeze of fresh lemon

 

1. Combine ingredients above.

2. Shake well, pour into a chilled martini glass.

3. Add a splash of soda water (optional).

4. Garnish with a Luxardo Maraschino cherry.

 

Eve’s Blossom

2 oz. Daron Calvados

1/2 oz. St. Germain Elderflower

1/2 squeeze of fresh lemon

 

1. Combine ingredients above.

2. Shake well, pour into a chilled martini glass.

3. Add a healthy splash of soda water.

4. Garnish with a lemon twist or squeeze of lemon.
